| Descripción del Puesto: | The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Guatemala is seeking for Full Stack Developers. The chosen candidates will be part of the local team responsible of a major project in the public services field for UNCTAD, a high profile international organization based in Switzerland. Job Responsabilities: Colaborating in designing, prototyping, building and monitoring eGovernment applications and systems, and new features; Implementing web services between system databases; Participating in all aspects of the project life-cycle, from ideation to specification to release; Identifying system deficiencies and recommend solutions; Work closely with the team to enhance the user experience. | |

| Requerimos | ||
| Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining systems. Experience with at least one major language (such as Java, Python, Ruby or C++). Experience in modern web development using JavaScript, HTML5, and libraries such as Bootstrap, Angular, Jquery or D3. Demonstrated experience with at least one database management system, knowledge of NoSQL databases would be a plus. Availability to learn new technical abilities. Availability to attend trainings outside the country. Problem solve skills. Excellent collaborative skills. Attention to detail. Able to work reliably and meet deadlines. Bachelors Degree or Equivalent ideally in Computer Science or Engineering. Fluent in English (writing, speaking, reading). | ||
