| Descripción del Puesto: | We are currently looking for Java Developers to design and implement server-side applications. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the applications. Responsibilities and Duties: The work will be carried out in the company’s premises or in client premises. In hereunder a detailed list describing some of the activities/deliverable of an eProseed Senior Java Developer: Facilitate and actively participate in all phases of project development life cycle: including requirements gathering and analysis, solution design and development, testing and implementation, post-production support and evolution; Able to understand the requirements and develop a solution; Ensure the technical feasibility of applications designs; Develop & maintain new features using Java and J2EE; Build reusable code and libraries based on Java and J2EEM; Test and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability; Develop accurate and concise written documentation; Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. | |

| Requerimos | ||
| Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as developer. Strong interest in designing complex, mission-critical and highly secure solutions. Strong understanding of J2EE architecture, Web 2.0 and RIA technology. Strong server-side development experience of enterprise applications using Java. Familiarity with maven, agile practices, JIRA (or similar tools), enterprise and RESTful architectures. Strong experience in several of the following areas: Java J2EE, Spring, REST services, SQL, ORM, JPA, database design, application servers. Familiarity with best practices for Java and design pattern. Current knowledge of XML, UML, HTML, Javascript, Linux/Windows. Proficient understanding of code versioning and continuous integration tools, such as GIT, Jenkins. Knowledge of Node.js, BPM, rules engine is a strong plus. Good written and oral communication skills in English. Desirable skills: Ability to work and communicate in an international and multicultural environment; Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers, including clear and concise written and verbal communication skills; High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail; Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances; Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a complex global organization; High aptitude for learning and a high degree of self-motivation; Acquire new competencies and accept new challenges; Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities; Fluent in English and Spanish. | ||
